Hi! I am going to start a new mini series on thinking errors. It is very relevant to me right now as I embark on opening the Parkwood Counseling Center, being a mom and setting goals for myself creatively. I’m going to introduce you to some of the anecdotes (fun word!) I use in sessions to bring home the ways our brains can completely fail us when we are busy living life.

I challenge you, as a helper, parent, counselor or friend to
think about what you are thinking about
rebuke those negative thinking errors
and make true statement to yourself.

Usually, it includes admitting that you don’t know the reason. When you do that, it opens the door for looking for someone who does and trusting that they have everything under control. (God reference here, y’all.)

…It will all make sense soon. Here we go!
